San Lorenzo
San Lorenzo is ranked among the finest courses in Europe. The very demanding golf course is kept in impeccable conditions all year. The course is located within the unique setting of the Ria Formosa Natural Park and Quinta do Lago. After the typical Algarve terrain of the first four holes, wonderful views over the Atlantic emerge on the fifth green. The green at the eighth is a perilous conclusion to a tough hole, but whatever happens here, there is no option other than to be courageous at the remarkable, well defended final hole. The rare and multi-faced beauty of San Lorenzo and its impeccable upkeep make this a real gem. It is a truly memorable golf course to play. San Lorenzo can only be booked 24 hours in advance for visitors on special request. For advanced tee times you must stay at the Dona Filipa Hotel.
